Tiger - Unit 6 - part 3 - We climbed into the glass capsule

 We climbed into the glass capsule. It had huge windows from floor to ceiling. We stood at the windows and the capsule started to rise slowly. My little sister giggled and pointed. I stared at the river, then we went up, up into the clouds. I felt excited and nervous at the same time! We climbed higher and higher over London. I could see amazing buildings: palaces, famous places, towers and domes and glass skyscrapers that sparkled in the sun. All colours, shapes and sizes. I could see bridges, parks and a thousand streets with tiny cars and people. From up there, they looked like little insects going backwards and forwards.


We climbed slowly, higher and higher, under the enormous blue sky. Then we came down to earth. In our 30-minute journey, I had travelled over the whole city of London!
